People who love to cook always love it here. We also find that couples and friends who prefer separate bedrooms also choose the Pool House as their preferred accommodation.
Tropical Hideaway Pool House is a beautiful and very unique property offering a combination of luxury, privacy, space and affordability that is hard to come by these days. The accommodation is very cleverly designed and utilises the very large pool patio and the steps leading up to the main Tropical Hideaway villa as it’s roof. It measures over 20m (65′) long and has a 2nd open plan mezzanine bedroom with a lovely vaulted ceiling. The Pool House has large double patio doors with covered veranda’s and lovely sea views at both ends of the property. The prevailing tropical breeze takes advantage of this design and wonders through the house and out through the West facing patio doors.

The accommodation is reached from the Pool Bar steps and once entered you cannot fail to be impressed. A large, spacious, fully functioning kitchen, complete with a professional full size range cooker, large Belfast sink, American style fridge freezer with icemaker, washing machine and dining table use just a small area of the property. The well laid out kitchen also includes a combination microwave oven and grille, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, Moka expresso maker, professional blender and a comprehensive range of high quality cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

2 bedroomed accommodation
The North Eastern aspect has lovely views overlooking Admiralty Bay, the natural forested hills and the tropical gardens. This is where the main bedroom is located. The bedroom patio doors open onto a covered veranda and patio area and the views from here are just beautiful. These doors can also be used as an alternative entrance to the Pool House if required. You can also access the barbecue area from here which is just a short walk away under the stone arch.
Another open plan bedroom utilises a large mezzanine area which is reached from the curved steps by the kitchen. This second bedroom allows the property to be used by a family or by friends who wish to share. Both bedrooms have air conditioners and quality ceiling fans and can be screened off from the rest of the house by curtains if additional privacy is required. The main bedroom has a very large super king size bed with the mezzanine bedroom having a double size bed. Both have luxurious mattresses with ample wardrobe, cupboard and storage space close at hand. Egyptian cotton bed linens and pillow choices including natural feather pillows are all supplied as standard.
A very spacious en-suite toilet and shower room leads from the living area and this has been finished to a very high standard using natural coral stone tiles. The walk through shower is a lovely feature and is finished in natural stone pebble and coral tiles. A complimentary range of premium toiletries, organic shampoos, conditioners and soaps, together with top quality luxury bath linens, robes, pool and beach towels are all supplied.
At the far end of the house is a large living area with two comfortable sofas and two captain style cane rocking chairs. This provides a very comfortable seating area and has lovely views looking out through the patio doors. These doors lead onto a covered veranda and patio area with a large swinging hammock, two cane and rattan armchairs, an authentic Thai cartwheel coffee table and a dining table suitable for 4 people. Enjoy Al fresco dining on your own very private veranda and enjoy the ambience of the outside environment with spectacular views overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding natural forested hills. Sunsets from here can be stunning.
In-house entertainment
The living area has the latest Smart HD 49” flat screen TV giving access to our in-house entertainment system supplying high definition films, TV, music and Internet radio. The television is positioned to allow viewing from the comfort of the armchair seating area. A second Smart Tv is situated in the master bedroom. A quality ceiling fan is also positioned here as is an air conditioner if required.
Wi Fi is available throughout the Pool House and all of Tropical Hideaway and USB charging points are provided for your convenience. All windows are fully screened and patio doors have sliding insect screens allowing you to have the doors and windows open and still enjoy the ambience of outdoor living without getting bitten.
We take very seriously our guests health and having a fully screened and mosquito free environment is an important consideration when choosing your holiday accommodation. You can sleep soundly at Tropical Hideaway safe in the knowledge that there are no biting insects or mosquito’s in your room.
Stunning 58’ Infinity Pool

The very large Infinity edge swimming pool is just a few metres away and is often quoted as being one of the top ten pools in the Caribbean. The Infinity Pool is a stunning feature of the property and with the environmentally friendly solar heating, the pool can be enjoyed at all times of the year. Typically our daytime pool temperatures are around 33 deg C in summer and 29 deg C in winter. That’s an amazing 94 deg F falling to a very inviting 84 deg F in winter. The extra 3 degrees C created by our solar heating can make an enormous difference to your enjoyment of the pool.
