Booking at Tropical Hideaway
People often book 12 months in advance and we do recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. This is especially important if you have specific dates of travel, if you are planning to visit us during the main season from December to Easter, or if the live booking calendar shows limited availability around your preferred dates.
We understand that some flight schedules may not yet have been published and we do offer guest friendly booking terms allowing date changes and booking amendments up to 6 weeks before arrival at no charge* (subject to availability).
This allows you to book your accommodation and to confirm your flights when the airline schedules become available. In the unlikely event that flights are not available you can easily amend your booking, penalty free* and up to 6 weeks before arrival. (subject to availability and rate plan chosen).
*First change is free, further changes incur a $100 US admin charge per booking.
Booking Terms
Bookings with arrival dates more than 6 weeks
A 20% deposit will be charged with the remaining balance taken 6 weeks before your arrival date.
Bookings with arrival dates less than 6 weeks
Full payment will be taken at time of booking.
Early Bird and Last Minute rates
Full payment will be taken at time of booking.
Credit Card / Debit card fees.
An additional 3.0% card fee will be applied to all card payments (as charged to us by our bank).
Bank / Wire Transfers
International bank transfer payments will usually incur some charges en-route and any charges or deductions made by the banks will be added to your account. Domestic bank transfers made within the same country are usually free.

Reserving at Tropical Hideaway
We offer a “free and no commitment service” allowing you to reserve your accommodation at Tropical Hideaway for up to 5 days. This allows you to discuss, plan and finalize your travel plans safe in the knowledge that your accommodation is already reserved for you. There is no commitment or charge for this service and the reservation will simply lapse after 5 days if we have not heard back from you.
