For singles, couples and small groups up to 6 guests.
We do advise that you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events, health issues etc that may happen before your travel.(Terms and condition differ for ‘Early Bird’ and ‘Last Minute’ pay in full rates. Please see bottom of page).
Up to 6 weeks before arrival. Changes to your booking regarding dates, accommodation, duration etc, can be made free of charge for the first change. Further amendments to your booking will incur an administration fee of $100 US per room for each time you change your booking. Dates can be amended for any new travel dates up to 12 months after your original arrival date and if preferred, can be left open until you are confident about your new travel plans. All changes are subject to availability and any difference in price. Substantial reductions to your booking will never result in the overall cost being less than the 20% deposit paid.
Within 6 weeks of arrival. Changes to your booking regarding dates, accommodation, duration etc., cannot be made within six weeks of arrival. Reductions in price will not be given for missed nights, late arrivals, changes in season, reduction in group size, moving to cheaper accommodations or reducing the number of nights.
- Guests cancelling up to 6 weeks before arrival will receive a full refund of any balance payment made (less any bank fees). Deposits will be forfeited.
- Guests cancelling up to 4 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the balance payment (less any bank fees). Deposits will be forfeited.
- Guests cancelling up to 2 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of 25% of the balance payment (less any bank fees). Deposits will be forfeited.
- Guests cancelling within 2 weeks of arrival will forfeit both their deposit and balance payment. No refunds will be given.
For group bookings with 6 or more guests.

Our special ‘Early Bird’ and ‘Last Minute’ pay in full rates are our cheapest rates available.
- Early Bird discounts of 10% are available for bookings with arrival dates of more than 10 months.
- Last Minute discounts of 20% are available for bookings with arrival dates of less than 21 days.

- Guests cancelling up to 6 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the monies paid (less any bank fees).
- Guests cancelling up to 3 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of 25% of the monies paid (less any bank fees).
- Guests cancelling within 3 weeks of arrival will forfeit all of the monies paid. No refunds will be given.

Check in – Check out times
Check in time is anytime after 2pm on the day of arrival.
Check out time is 10am.
These hours can sometimes be extended (no charge), if there is not a changeover of guests.
Credit card, Debit card and Bank transfer fees
CHILD POLICY
We do not usually accept children at Tropical Hideaway unless they are part of a group booking which has exclusivity of Tropical Hideaway with no other guests on site. At quiet times of the year, or if we have no guests in residence we may be able to accommodate children, but please note they will have to be well behaved, and supervised at all times. Please be advised there are areas at Tropical Hideaway that may be unsuitable for children. The infinity Pool is unguarded and open from the pool patio area, there are stone steps and spiky plants and there are areas that may have steep drops behind such as the gazebo day bed. All these areas are unsupervised by us and we accept no responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur to a child.
Please do not be offended by our child policy. We specialize in couples and small groups and will try to accommodate children, but only when there are no other guests in residence, or when we have guests in residence who have stated they are happy to have well behaved, supervised children around.
